Introduction to Pythagorean Numbers

Pythagora of Samos was a philosopher, commonly known as a mathmetican and the eponym of the Pythagorean Theorem. But, we're not here for common. Let's dive into the great wisdom and mystery behind Pythagoras' numeration and how to calculate to the true wisdom.

Numbers are Qualitative Not Quantitative. Pythagorean numbers are named differently to shift the mind into perceiving the divine within numbers and to correlate numbers with their forms. This is the foundation in Theoretical Numbers, it reveals context beyond equations and summations, and reveals the interconnection of creation. Pythagorean numbers show how ratios are musical notes, how shapes (geometry) comprise our created reality, and how everything follows the laws of nature-uniting back to source.

As we explore the beauty of numbers, it's important to remember we are speaking of ONE truth, and uncovering it through different modalities, and their relationships through division, multiplication, and summation. Arithmetic are the universal laws in numeration. The Law of multiplicity is how formation is created, Division is the return to source, and reveals the nature of generation, and Summation is the Law of Attraction.

The numbers are classified as masculine (odd), and feminine (even), their associations and summation reveals the Law of Polarity and the Law of Genders-That's a deeper lesson. The key is the classification of odd and even will show how numbers come together in harmony and create the interactive reality.

Lessons were split into two categories-Multitude and Magnitude. Together these were the Science of Numbers. Know this as what comprises the vibration and how the vibration radiates. It is energy/consciousness in its two expressions-push & pull, inward & outward, and the breath of the universe.

The Multitude (the constituent parts of a thing), taught arithmetic and musical harmony. Arithmatic was very different than what we are taught today.

The Magnitude (the density, the emanation, and action of a thing), this was further delineated into movement and stationary magnitude. Astronomy was taught in magnitude, movement-planets, and fixed stars; stationary-forces or what physics references as the field. Geometry was also taught in Magnitude, because its shapes created formation.

Geometry- Shaping The Unseen

Geometry are the numeric measurement of the consciousness that creates form. It is how our reality is measured into shapes which reveal the vibration, or nature of what is, it is also how elements come together into a formative reality. Let's break down the naming scheme that defines form and quality.

"Numbers are shapes and Pythagoras commonly referred to numbers as their shapes or forms, and he referred to the forms as numerals." W.W. Wyatt

This altered the mind to perceive numeration in its sacred format of formation. The number, its naming format and shape is listed below.

(1) Monad- point, dot (the symbol of the sun)

(2) Dyad- Line (having two points, above and below)

(3) Triad- Superficies (a body or region of space, outward projection-the creation into first form)

Vibration creates form, and form expresses in numbers and tones. One of the keys in understanding the geometry is that it forms our dimensions which is apart of our creative reality. 3D, 4D, 5D and so on. It is connected to what forms in the higher dimensions of consciousness and creation. (video explaining shapes & dimensions).

Pythagoras Perfect 5th- Harmony of the Spheres

Pythagoras proved the correspondence between musical notes, and planetary movement, known as the harmony of the spheres.

The perfect fifth is a fundamental interval in music, known for its pleasing and harmonious sound. It refers to the distance between two pitches where the higher pitch has a frequency exactly 1.5 times that of the lower pitch. or can be expressed as 2:3 or 3:2. This interval plays a significant role in harmony and chord progressions, forming the basis for many musical structures.

The perfect fifth is a fundamental and harmonically significant interval in music theory. It is created by pairing two notes that are seven diatonic scale degrees apart, resulting in a ratio of frequencies that is approximately 3:2. This interval is highly consonant and is often associated with a sense of stability and harmony. When two notes are played a perfect fifth apart, they create a pleasing and resonant sound that is considered one of the most harmonious combinations in music. In the context of a major scale, the perfect fifth is the interval between the first and fifth degrees of the scale. It plays a vital role in constructing chords and establishing tonal centers, contributing to the overall structure and emotional quality of musical compositions.

The Harmony of the Spheres is an ancient philosophical and cosmological application converting numeric ratios (relationship of numbers (masculine/feminine, odd/even) and their signification to reveal the relationship between the celestial bodies in the universe, such as planets and stars, and the principles of music. Pythagoras expanded upon Plato's work proving the 5 Platonic Solids (geometrical shapes that are complete) converts into musical harmony, and noting that music is formed from the moveable bodies (planets & stars). Johannes Kepler the famed astronomer, completed much of Pythagoras work to unite Astronomy and music, to illuminate the harmonies within our universe.

The mathematical ratios of music and the movements of the celestial bodies, emphasizing the idea that there is an inherent order and unity in both the physical and metaphysical realms. Pythagoras declared 10 as the greatest number the exaltation of the one. He divided the earth into 10 spheres, these spheres is vibrations based on the numeric assignment. When working with the Harmony of Spheres, you will learn the school of Magnitude and the astronomical ordering into the harmony of our WORLDS.
